Founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1974, embrella, formerly Foster and Adoptive Family Services, serves foster, adoptive and kinship parents in communities throughout NJ.Who We Help
Children are placed in foster care because they have experienced abuse or neglect and it is unsafe for them to remain at home. They are innocent victims of unfortunate circumstances. But they are not alone. We support children and resource parents that provide the critical care that foster children need.How We Help
We provide services, support and training opportunities for foster, adoptive and kinship families, and others having the responsibility for and/or the interest in the well-being of children.Our Mission and Vision

New Jersey Foster Care Scholars Program (NJFC)
For 15 years, embrella has helped thousands of youth in foster care pursue a post-secondary education.Pathways to Academic and Career Exploration to Success (PACES)
PACES program serves NJFC Scholar-eligible adolescents as they transition out of high school.
$5 / MONTH
Gives two children the opportunity to register for ballet lessons.
$15 / MONTH
Allows one child the opportunity to go to summer camp.
$25 / MONTH
Provides one child the opportunity to participate in a basketball program.
